Build a Country Tier Lists
Roles and opportunity cost — not fake HP or unpublished gold prices.
This hub ranks roles, not invented stat sheets. Build a Country released on 21 May 2026 as a five-player Roblox strategy experience from canard’s secret studio. You spawn with a tiny town, grow housing and farms, then ally or declare war until one country takes the server. Official art splits the fantasy in half: peace is workers in wheat; war is tanks and planes on a green field, with a 1% hit callout in a tank duel. Every list on this wiki follows that loop.
We do not publish hit points, damage, or gold costs the studio has not shown in-game. If a number is missing from a tooltip, a gamepass, or the official page, it does not belong in a tier list. Use these pages to spend time and Robux on the right job, then confirm exact costs on your own plot.
How we rank
Every pick is scored against three windows:
- Early economy — Does this role print cash and population before anyone is ready to fight?
- Mid expansion — Does it keep builders busy, keep the plot box from blocking the next placement, and raise how many people you can house?
- War readiness — When a neighbor flips from ally to attacker, can you field tanks and planes and replace them after those 1% shots start landing?
Opportunity cost is the real rank. A military plot that looks powerful is a poor early buy because those builders are not on houses and farms. The same plot becomes a strong late buy once selling already funds a rebuild. Open the building tier list for housing, production, storage, and military roles. Open the gamepass tier list before you buy 2x Money, 2x Builder Speed, 2x Population, Infinite Storage, VIP, or Change Size. Open the war tier list when you are ready to think about armor.
Early economy
The first hour is a town loop, not a tower-defense match. Housing raises population. Farms and other production buildings fill the sell cycle. Official peace art is workers in wheat for a reason: cash is the only way later military exists. Pair this hub with the buildings guide so you know which plot jobs to queue, and skim the Playstyles Hub if you already know you want to stay a banker while someone else holds the border.
Empty tanks on a starter plot fail the early test. They consume builder time and plot space that should have been population and production. If a neighbor is already waving a flag over a dense town, you are behind on economy, not on armor.
Mid expansion
Once cash ticks, the bottlenecks shift. Storage — the plot box — decides whether you can keep placing. Builder speed decides whether queues stall. Population multipliers decide how many people your houses actually support. This is where Infinite Storage and 2x Builder Speed start to look like ranks instead of cosmetics. The gamepass list explains why 2x Money and 2x Builder Speed sit at the top while Change Size stays a fun extra.
Flagged city plots in official art show dense blocks under national flags, not a single trophy tank. Mid-game rank is how fast a country fills its square, not how scary one vehicle looks in a screenshot.
War readiness
War is the late chapter. Tanks and planes matter, but they are not the top rank on their own. You cannot replace losses without cash, and a five-player server means four other people can pile on. Diplomacy is part of the war rank: an ally who keeps farming while you hold the line is worth more than a third idle tank. Details live on the war list.
How to use these lists
Stay on top-ranked roles until the window changes. Re-rank when:
- Your plot box is full and builders idle
- A neighbor asks for an alliance
- Someone declares war
- You can sell enough in one cycle to rebuild the army you just lost
Do not treat this hub as a forever meta. The studio can add buildings. The five people in your lobby will not play the same way twice.
If you arrived from a thumbnail of planes, start on war readiness only after the early and mid tests pass. If you arrived to spend Robux, open gamepasses last, after the free plot already works.

Re-open this hub after your first real war. The rank that felt obvious in a peaceful lobby often flips when a flagged city next door starts rolling tanks and the 1% callout appears over your own armor.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for codes, war, and growing your country.
How is this tier list ranked?
By role and opportunity cost across early economy, mid expansion, and war readiness — not by invented HP or DPS. Start with the building tier list and the war tier list.
Why are there no unit damage numbers?
The studio has not published a public stat sheet we can cite. Fake numbers would mislead more than they help. Rank jobs first, then read in-game tooltips on your plot.
Should I rush tanks on day one?
No. Early economy beats empty military plots. Read war readiness on this hub, then the Playstyles Hub if you still want to fight first.
Which list should I open first?
New towns: building tier list. Robux questions: gamepass tier list. After you have cash: war tier list.
